HISTORY: William the Conqueror

November 22nd - 26th

We have been busy with our lesson on Feudalism with many projects that will soon be displayed on our bulletin board in the school.

Monday, we will wrap up all of our projects (shields and castles) and review all of our material for our test over The Feudal System on Tuesday.

Tuesday, The Feudal System TEST

Enjoy your holiday kiddo's! I wrote out lessons and forgot we have a holiday, how could I do that!?!?

The Domesday Book is the record of the great survey of much of England and parts of Wales completed in 1086, executed for William the Conqueror. "While spending the Christmas of 1085 in Gloucester, William had deep speech with his counsellors and sent men all over England to each shire to find out what or how much each landholder had in land and livestock, and what it was worth"

Mission: On a piece of notebook paper write down what it says here in the blog about The Domesday Book and slip it into our secret envelope on Monday at school.
