LITERATURE: HOMEWORK 10/29-11/5


Listen! You have heard of the Knightly Five of the Fourth
in the yester-day, and how they were great minstrels, with harp,
tale, and tapestry that showed their strengths as tale-weavers!
To them, we raise the cup of thanks and show all gratitude for

Our next short reading unit will be a biography of Saint Benedict, Hero of the Hills, as well as some of his writing from The Rule of St. Benedict and several of his prayers. We will share the responsibility of reading his biography in this way:

By Monday, November 1, please have read the FIRST of the two chapters you have been given today, Friday, October 29. You will give a summary of your chapter and teach it to the rest of the class on Monday during Literature class. Please fill in the summary chart that you were given in class. It will count as a grade, as will your oral presentation.
