Hi, 4th Graders,
Since we have finished reading Beowulf but are still working on our presentation, there won't be any reading homework until Thursday of this week. At that time, I will be giving you some chapters from a biography of St. Benedict to read and report on, as well as some of his prayers and writings. Those won't be due until the week after this.
You won't have a spelling or vocabulary test this Friday either. So enjoy your week "off," and remember that you still need to be reading every night for at least 30 minutes and writing your time down on your blog for your parents to sign. Your logs are due this Friday.
Our presentation of Beowulf will take place this Thursday (change in date), October 28, at about 11:45. We will be asking Miss Brindley's third graders to come, and your parents are also invited! See you on Monday!
