LITERATURE: HOMEWORK 9/4-9/8

Well, the monster Grendel is no more. What do you think Beowulf has in store in the remainder of this book? Can you "see" Beowulf as a super hero, like those you've grown up with--Superman, Batman, Spiderman?

This week, we will continue to read Beowulf in class, and will continue our summaries, characterizations, and kennings list. You should still be reading every night at home for at least 30 minutes, and writing your time down in your reading log for your parents to sign.

I am really happy that you all did such a great job with your spelling and vocabulary words for the week on Friday's test! Your new list is below! Practice them right away, and you won't need to worry about being prepared for the spelling test on Friday, October 8!
