Monday, after the Blessing of the Animals, we will be reading the Justinian Project: Reading and Discussion worksheet. From this reading we will be able to answer these two important questions.
1. What was the relationship of the barbarians to Justinian?
2. Why was it important to bring together all of the Roman laws when Justinian began his rule?
Tuesday, we will be reading the Project 2 worksheet and discussing the different styles of Christian church architecture that developed during this period of time. We'll be creating our own paper mosaic pictures as well.
Wednesday, we will be reviewing for our Test over Justinian coming up on Thursday.
Thursday, Justinian the Great Test.
Friday, we will discuss Mohammed and the creation of Islam, which will give us a better understanding of where the traditions and religion came from.
