Hi, 4th Grade!
I first want to tell you how proud I am of how hard you all worked this week getting your On the Road with Adam brochures completed. I have received 3 of the 5 and need you other two to remember that those are due at the beginning of class on Monday. You also should have your study guide for The Door in the Wall finished by the time you come to class on Monday.
I do want to mention that several of you are not turning in your reading logs. They are due every Friday! You cannot make an A in literature without turning them in. Some of you did better on your spelling test this week, but you all need to study those words and definitions before your test on Friday!
This week, we will begin a new novel, From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler--it's in modern times and takes place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City (see picture above.) I think you'll really like it! Too bad we can't take a field trip there on our way to see England!
Your assignments and spelling words are below. Have a great weekend!
FOR MONDAY, April 11: Turn in your On the Road with Adam travel brochures if you did not turn them in last week. Have your study guide for The Door in the Wall completed and ready to be checked. Study for tomorrow's test over Door.
